Will it be a good idea to abolish the USMC and entrust all the tasks to US Army?
USMC trains its personnel to fight as infantry. US Army has armour, helicoptors, airborne forces, and also infantry. Doesn't this cause duplicate forces when one can do the job? Why the US have different forces for the same job?
