In fact you are wrong, it doesn't have anything to do with separation. Maybe if you had studied in school you wouldn't be so worried. If it was as strict as you seem to think, no politician would be allowed to even go to church, synagouge or mosque. You anti-religion alice's really need to learn the law and lighten up.
